Laura DeMarco, Partner/Director of Client Service and Marketing

Laura DeMarco, Partner and the Director of Client Service and Marketing, joined the firm in November 2007. She leads the client service and marketing team and is responsible for the strategic development and execution of the firm’s business development plan. Her role is critical in developing and maintaining client relationships. Previously, Laura was a partner and one of the first employees of Nicholas-Applegate Capital Management where she spearheaded marketing and client service to public pension funds for 18 years. In addition to working with cities, counties and states nationwide, Laura served several large endowment, foundation, Taft-Hartley and private clients. She has also served on the boards and investment committees of the San Diego Museum of Art, San Diego Historical Society and YMCA of San Diego County. She was formerly an appointed member of the $8 billion San Diego County Employees Retirement Association for three years. Laura earned a B.A. in Political Science from the University of San Diego where she served on the advisory board for USD’s School of Leadership and Educational Sciences. Laura has over 30 years of investment industry experience.

Meredith Genova, Senior Client Service and Marketing Officer

Meredith Genova, Senior Client Service and Marketing Officer, joined the firm in June 2016. She is a key member of the firm’s client service and marketing team. Her expertise includes marketing and client service for quantitative and traditional equity strategies as well as fixed income and alternatives, focusing on the institutional investment community. Meredith primarily focuses on consultant relations and client development in the eastern half of North America and Europe. Previously, Meredith served as Vice President of Institutional Sales and Service at Fred Alger Management where she marketed growth-equity investment strategies to investment consultants and institutional investors. She previously led business development and client service for an emerging manager with quantitative large cap equity strategies. Meredith started her career at AllianceBernstein where she worked for 12 years in institutional consultant relations, sub-advisory services and wealth management both in New York and in London. She earned her B.A. in International Studies–Europe from The College of William and Mary. Meredith has 20 years of investment industry experience.

Tammy Wiseman, Partner/Client Service and Marketing

Tammy Wiseman, Partner and Client Service & Marketing Officer, joined the firm in February 2008. She is responsible for implementing the firm’s client service and marketing programs as well as providing client service to investors and their consultants. Previously, Tammy held marketing and compliance officer positions at Nicholas-Applegate Capital Management for over 12 years. Prior to that, Tammy provided shareholder services to retail investors at Scudder Stevens and Clark and spent three years at Edward D. Jones providing client service and sales support. She attended California State University where she studied Economics. Tammy has over 25 years of investment industry experience.

 

 

Chauntelle Zwonitzer, Client Service & Marketing Associate

Chauntelle Zwonitzer, Client Service & Marketing Associate, joined the firm in May 2015. She assists in implementing the firm’s client service and marketing programs as well as providing client service to investors and their consultants. Previously, she spent four years with Relational Investors where she produced marketing materials, completed RFPs, client due diligence reports, and monthly/quarterly client reports. Prior to that, she spent 17 years with Freeman Associates Investment Management (and its predecessor firm) providing client service and marketing support. Chauntelle has over 25 years of investment industry experience.
